Covid update

Zimbabwe recoreded ten new cases of C-19 yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 8 thousand and 21.

In a statement the Ministry of Health and Childcare said the national recovery rate rose to 95.1 percent after 1 thousand 122 recoveries were reported, bringing total recoveries to 7 thousand 627.

The Ministry also said the 7 day rolling average for new cases remains at 17.

Since the onset of the outbreak 230 people have succumbed to the pandemic and there are currently 164 active cases.
