Brigadier general Sambulo Ndlovu laid to rest in Bulawayo
Senior military officers, family and friends converged at Lady Stanley cemetery in Bulawayo this Thursday for the burial of Brigadier General Sambulo Ndlovu whom they saluted for committing his entire life to liberating Zimbabwe.
Representing Commander Zimbabwe Defence Forces, Chief of Staff General Staff Major General, David Sigauke said the late Brigadier General Ndlovu contributed immensely in mobilisation efforts for the liberation movement.
The Minister of State for Bulawayo Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution, honourable Judith Ncube noted that the late senior army officer will be remembered for his sincerity and loyalty to his motherland.
Family representative, Mr Edward Sibanda said they are yet to come to terms with the loss as the fallen retired brigadier general was a unifier.
The late brigadier general succumbed to covid-19 at a parirenyatwa group of hospitals this Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife Sarah Ndlovu, six children and grandchildren.
