COVID19 update

Zimbabwe has recorded a total of 7 thousand 531 confirmed cases of Covid-19 as of Monday the 14^th of September 2020. The number of new infections for Covid-19 seem to be declining as only 5 new cases and no deaths were recorded yesterday.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health and Child care said all the 5 cases were local.

There were 12 new recoveries yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 5 690, which translates to a national recovery rate of 76 percent.

Active cases are now at 1 617, and the total accumulative figure now stands at 7 531 with a total of 224 deaths.
