Covid-19 update

The covid-19 pandemic is taking a serious toll on Zimbabwe as 74 cases tested positive yesterday these include 57 local cases and 17 returnees from South Africa who are all in isolation.

In a statement the Ministry of Health and Child Care said, 

Two people succumbed to the disease yesterday, a male aged 59 and a female aged 50 from Manicaland province.

Since the onset of Covid 19 outbreak on the 20^th of march this year, the total number of confirmed cases is now at 4 649  with 1 437  recoveries, 3 106  active cases and 104 deaths
