Minister Shiri to be buried tomorrow

The late Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement Retired Air Chief Marshall Perence Shiri has been declared national hero.

A sombre atmosphere engulfed this Wednesdays’ politburo meeting which kicked off with a minute of silence in honour of the late Minister, Perence Shiri

The meeting started with ZANU PF first secretary, President Mnangagwa informing politburo members of the death of Minister Shiri.

After the politburo session, the ruling party’s acting national spokesperson, Cde Chinamasa announced the hero status accorded to the late Retired Air Chief Marshall Shiri.

Minister Shiri who was a retired four-star general in the air force of Zimbabwe will be buried tomorrow 31 July 2020.
