Covid-19 Update

The country recorded twelve new cases of corona virus bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases to 617.

In a statement the Ministry of Health and Child care said out of the 12, ten are returnees from South Africa and two are local cases. Investigations are underway to establish the source of the infections for the local cases.

Four recoveries were recorded from Manicaland province whilst mash east recorded three recoveries bringing to 173 the total number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic on the 20^th of march 2020.

The country still has seven deaths.
