ZACC prepared to dispose corruption cases in shortest possible time

The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) says it is advocating for a highly responsive criminal justice system that will dispose corruption cases within a short space of time.

While the second republic has declared zero tolerance to corruption, the slow pace in which cases of graft are being handled by the courts has seen the public questioning the level of commitment of the criminal justice delivery system in tackling the rot.

Speaking to the Khulumanifm news on the side lines of a meeting to solicit input from key stakeholders for the development of an anti –corruption strategy in Gwanda this Thursday, ZACC Commissioner Mr John Makamure said the  graft watchdog wants to see corruption cases being concluded with the necessary speed.
