City of kings to host Kenya: Rugby

Rugby fans in Bulawayo have all the reasons to smile as the city will this Saturday play host to the sables versus visiting Kenya at Hartsfields rugby grounds in what is set to be a cracker of an encounter.

The Brandon Dawson coached outfit will be hoping to maintain a perfect start to their Victoria cup campaign when they clash with Kenya.

The four team tournament has so far seen the sables thrashing northern neighbours, Zambia 39 – 10 and edging Uganda 26 – 31 on the road in Kampala.

While confirming that preparations for hosting the big match in Bulawayo were about 95% complete, Zimbabwe rugby union vice president, martin shone, indicated that the main target was for the youthful side to get together so as to put up a strong challenge for the 2023 world cup.
