Community leaders urged to distribute food fairly

Community leaders have been challenged to ensure that food aid is fairly distributed to all and desist from politicising the exercise.
With just days before the Lupane by-election set for August the 3rd, Zanu pf has called upon residents of the area to rally behind the party candidate, Cde Mbongeni Dube.
Speaking during a rally at Jiba jiba, Zanu pf national secretary for administration, Dr Obert Mpofu, spoke on the fact that community leaders were supposed to represent all.
This comes in the backdrop of some Mdc Councillors who are allegedly handing out government food aid along party lines.
While appealing for support during the August 3 by election, Cde Mbongeni Dube paid tribute to Lupane east residents for rallying behind him.
Zanu pf will be looking to retain its seat that was previously held by the late Cde Sithembile Gumbo.
