Black market traders counting losses

Black market traders on the streets of Bulawayo have been left counting losses as rates tumbled overnight after the end of mult-currency regime and the adaptation of a mono-currency regime in favor of a domestic currency.

Government removed the multi-currency regime and restricted domestic transactions to local currency and that has put to the sword many unscrupulous currency manipulators on the streets.

With the multi-currency regime officially out, government has sought to ensure that ordinary people who have been hard hit by unscrupulous money changers are protected.
