AU wildlife summit golf tourney preps on course
The Elephant Hills Golf Club has stepped up preparations for the AU Wildlife Summit Presidential Golf tournament to be held in Victoria Falls on the 23rd of June and set to attract over 100 golfers from different African countries.
Famous for its real African flair where wild antelope, Impala, water buck and kudu as well as warthog roam the well-maintained fairways, the 18-hole Elephant Hills Golf Course will be the venue for the prestigious AU Wildlife Summit Presidential Golf Tournament. Spectators and golf enthusiasts can expect one or two heads of state teeing off at the magnificent golf course.
Elephant Hills Golf Club Captain Munyaradzi Hove said they have stepped up preparations for the tourney and applauded organiSers of the wildlife summit for putting the facility on the international spotlight.
The tournament to be played on a four better ball stableford format is meant to promote community-tourism development across the continent. Proceeds from the tournament are set to be channeled towards the Kavango Zambezi KAZA schools golf development programme.
