People in Bulawayo urged to shun violence

People from Bulawayo have been urged to be resolute in shunning elements of despondency fronted by non-progressive political and civic organisations.

The unruly elements who continue to incite violence and illegal protests will not be entertained, says ZANU PF Deputy National Commissar Mrs Omega Hungwe who addressed a fully packed Davies Hall in Bulawayo this Monday.

Bulawayo was the epicenter of rowdy January protests that left many businesses vandalized and reduced to ashes. Cde Hungwe said the government will uphold its mandate of ensuring that a conducive peaceful environment prevails for business to thrive.

In the same gathering, the ZANU PF district executives were urged to be party ambassadors and encourage each other to register in the party cells.
