The late national hero Cde Misheck Velaphi Ncube has been described as a cadre with impeccable nationalist credentials.

The late veteran nationalist Ncube who passed away on Monday, the 28th of Aril 2019 has been described as a man with huge achievements and works which are larger than life even though little has been said of him.

ZANU PF secretary for administration Cde Obert Mpofu outlined the history of the late national hero.  Having joined the struggle in 1962, the late national hero is regarded as one of the pioneer liberation movement cadres. His training in Zambia and Egypt saw him take part in the famous Hwange battle. Cde Ncube was declared a national hero on account of his vast contributions to the struggle. His burial arrangements will be announced in due course. Mourners are gathered at house number 70590 Lobengula West in Bulawayo. He is survived by wife Margret Khumalo and five children.
