Liberation war hero Brandy Moyo buried

Liberation hero Cde Brandy Moyo whose liberation war name was Cde Dumisani Tanyala was laid to rest at Nkulumane heroes acre in Bulawayo with full military honours. Cde Moyo died on the 21st of November 2018 at his home in Nkulumane 5 after a long illness.
In a speech read on her behalf by a senior official in Bulawayo metropolitan province, Tsvagai Fikile Marovatsanga the Minister of State for Provincial affairs Cde Judith Ncube said they are saddened by the death of Cde Moyo and will forever cherish his works while the family spokesperson Mr Liason Moyo described the late as a loving and hard working person.
The late liberation war hero joined the liberation struggle in 1977 where he was taken to Selibepikwe in Botswana under Zipra forces enroute Zambia. Cde Moyo later did his military training at Mbembesi training camp and in October 1977 he was deployed back to Zimbabwe in Tsholotsho for battle operations.
After independence, he joined the Zimbabwe National Army where he did his training at Mbalalabala and was deployed to 3:3 Infantry battallion in Mutare. Moyo is survived by five children and four grandchildren.
