FC Platinum retain PSL title

FC Platinum retained the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League with a 1-0 victory over neighbours Shabanie Mine on Sunday.

Devon Chafa scored the solitary goal as the Zvishavane side won the title with two games to spare.

Second placed Ngezi Platinum beat Bulawayo Chiefs 2-0 but their win will not be able to dethrone FC Platinum who maintain an unassailable 74 points tally as compared to Ngezi’s 65.

In other matches, Caps United won 1-0 against Mutare City Rovers, while Highlanders beat Chibuku Super Cup finalists Harare City 2-0.

Triangle and Dynamos drew 0-0 as the he Glamour Boys survived relegation after Nichrut’s loss on Saturday.
