GMAZ has dismissed overtures by bakers to increase the price of bread

The Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe (GMAZ) has dismissed overtures by bakers to increase the price of bread by 100 percent from $1.10 to $2. 20 per loaf
GMAZ chairperson, Tafadzwa Musarara made it clear that as millers, they are greatly concerned by the bread price increment that happened last week as the prices of inputs like flour, electricity and labour remained constant
Wheat based products have become part of most meals in Zimbabwe and their availability and affordability is of great importance to the citizenry.
