St Mary’s e – learning ecoschool

A pilot e- learning Eco-school has been established at St Mary’s Catholic primary in Hwange, where students can now access modern learning tools at a click of a button.
The state of the art facility that will see students being taught using latest ICT gadgets while also offering e – library services is courtesy of World Vision Canada and their partners Learning for Humanity, also from Canada.
Expectations are that the facility will raise the quality of education in the district with hopes high that other schools can also have the same programme.
Minister of Primary and Secondary education Professor Paul Mavhima said there is need for computer aided teaching and learning in order for the country to be at the same level with the rest of the world.
