New classroom blocks for Mbizha primary

St Michael Mbizha primary school in Hwange west is set to get new administration and classroom blocks with calls for villagers in the area to embrace development and to complement government efforts towards the transformation of the community.
Constructed in the 1960s St Michael Mbizha is one of the long established missionary schools in Hwange west where many of the liberation fighters who include current Zanu pf Secretary for Adminstration Dr Obert Mpofu received their primary education. Over the years infrastructure at the learning institution has deteriorated contributing the dismal pass rate which stands at 32%.
Working with other partners Dr Obert Mpofu has mobilised resources for the construction of a new administration and a classroom block. Work has already started with expectations that the infrastructure will help improve the learning environment in line with the new curriculum thrust.
