Vice President commissions gold processing center in Bubi

The Bubi small scale gold miners processing center that was commissioned by vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga is shaping up with the installation of machinery nearing completion.

A visit to the project site by the ZBC news showed that the installation of Hummer Mills and Crushers is almost complete in all the units while the electrification plant ready to take off.

Chairman of the Bubi small Scale Miners Association, Mr Sqeduthando Ncube said the project will see the miners initially owning 40 percent of the project and on full payment of the loan the project will be ceded over to them for full beneficiation.

National assembly member for Bubi Cde SonnyMguni said in addition to the new plant there are plans to establish a jewelry plant in Bubi that produces a variety of products after adding value on the mineral.
